Opening of the lecture hall of Professor Bagdaulet Kenzhaliyev
The 75th anniversary of Bagdaulet Kenzhaliyev, one of the founders of the Kazakh scientific school in the field of hydrometallurgy of non-ferrous and precious metals, famous scientist, was celebrated at Satbayev Kazakh National Technical Research University. A lecture hall for the scientist was opened on the occasion of the anniversary.
Meiram Begentayev, Rector of the university, attended the ceremony and delivered a congratulatory speech on behalf of the educational institution. In addition, the Minister of Science and Higher Education, Sayasat Nurbek’s congratulatory letter was read by the Rector. After that, well-known scientists, public and state figures, who came specially, expressed warm greetings to the owner of the anniversary and congratulated the new audience.
The new auditorium is equipped with modern equipment.
It should be noted that Bagdaulet Kenzhalyuly is a metallurgical scientist, doctor of technical sciences, professor, and general director of the JSC Institute of Metallurgy and Ore Beneficiation. He is a Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of Kazakhstan in the field of science and technology, winner of the State Prize, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, winner of two bronze badges of the Exhibition of Achievements of the People’s Economy of the USSR.
