Discussion a long-term plan of cooperative research activities and role of junior researchers in the development of country science
Last week, the General Director of the Institute, Bagdaulet Kenzhaliyev, visited the capital city Astana to discuss a long-term plan for further scientific cooperation with Kazatomprom in the field of research on the extraction of rare and rare earth metals. He also met with the Minister of Science and Higher Education to share his thoughts on the importance of issues raised in science and the role of junior researchers in the further development of science.
On October 10, 2022, a meeting was held between Mukanov E.Zh. – the Chairman of the Board of NAC Kazatomprom and Kenzhaliyev B.K. – General Director of JSC “Institute of Metallurgy and Ore Beneficiation.” As a result of the meeting, a long-term plan for further scientific cooperation between NAC Kazatomprom and the Institute of Metallurgy and Ore Beneficiation in the field of research on the extraction of rare and rare earth metals was determined.
On October 11, 2022, a meeting was held between Sayasat Nurbek – the Minister of Science and Higher Education and Kenzhaliyev B.K. – the General Director of JSC ” Institute of Metallurgy and Ore Beneficiation.” During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:
– the priority areas of science;
– pilot production;
– National Laboratories for Collective Use;
– social support for young scientists and specialists by creating conditions for their participation in social housing programs, including the City program of preferential lending “Almaty Zhastary”. Sayasat Nurbek emphasized the importance of the issues raised in science, noted the significant role of young people in the further development of Kazakhstan and assured that the ministry would provide comprehensive support.
