Scientific achievements: Honored personality of Kazakhstan, Honorary Academician of RK National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Professor. Lenin Komsomol Prize Laureate of Kazakhstan in the field of science and technology. He was awarded two bronze medals of USSR Exhibition of Economic Achievements and “For merits in the development of RK science” badge. Over the years, he was vice-rector for innovation activity at KBTU, director of Metallurgy and Enrichment Institute and President of JS “Center for Earth Science, Metallurgy and Enrichment” (CESME). Head of a number of programs and projects related to fundamental and applied research in the sphere of metallurgy and enrichment, at the same time he is a responsible executive for information technologies in oil-gas, engineering industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Currently, he is in charge of “Development and implementation of innovative technologies that enhance extraction of non-ferrous, noble, rare and rare-earth metals, and solving production problems of RK industrial enterprises” program. Kenzhaliyev B.K. is an active participant in international scientific process, coordinator of international scientific projects, and he has the status of an international expert. He is the author of more than 500 scientific papers, including 88 inventions, 7 monographs and books as well.

He was awarded the badge of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Enbek dangy» («Labor Glory»). Author of over 100 scientific papers, including 2 patents of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
