Department of intellectual property and international cooperation

Main aims and functions:

development and realization of patent and license policy of the Institute;
assistance in the development of high-level technologies;
detection of subjects of industrial property and their legal patent protection in Republic Kazakhstan and abroad, patent office-work;
participation in solving questions of foreign patenting expediency and in negotiations about license agreements conclusion;
support of employees by required scientific, technical, and patent information and literature;
library work: acquisition of library fund, service of readers, arranging thematic and new books exhibitions;
providing access of Center employees to world information resources and DB;
publishing activity on the issue of scientific Journal “Complex use of mineral resources”;
development of contacts with foreign profile organizations and international funds, organizing of delegations meeting, participation in the signing of contracts about cooperation;
To hold the annual international practical Internet conference "Challenges of science", designed to ensure a wide exchange of scientific achievements and views on topical issues of the development of science.
