Department of Intellectual Property and International Cooperation

Main areas of activity:

Development and implementation of patent and licensing policy of JSC IMOB;
Identification of intellectual property objects and ensuring their legal protection in the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad, maintaining records on them;
Participation in resolving issues on the advisability of foreign patenting and in negotiations on concluding license agreements;
Providing employees with the necessary scientific, technical, and patent information and literature;
Ensuring access of the institute employees to global information resources;
Editorial and publishing activities for the release of the scientific journal “Complex Use of Mineral Resources“;
Development of relations with foreign specialised organisations and international funds, participation in the events held by them, organisation of meetings, reception of delegations, individual representatives and participation in the signing of cooperation agreements;
Holding an annual International Scientific-Practical Internet Conference on Challenges of Science;
Participation in the preparation and conclusion of agreements and contracts in the scientific and technical sphere with scientific organizations of foreign countries;
Conducting work on filling and maintaining the website of JSC IMOB with information;
Conducting work on developing and improving the quality management system of the International Standard ISO 9001;
Checking and evaluating the quality management system of JSC IMOB for compliance with the requirements of ST RK ISO 9001-2016, conducting internal audits.
