    • on October, 8th, 2014 Agreement about cooperation № P /633/14 was signed between “Institute of Metallurgy and Ore Benefication” JSC and Wroclaw Technology University, Wroclaw, Poland.
    • on June, 24th, 2014 Cooperation agreement was signed between “Institute Metallurgy and Ore Benefication” JSC and “State scientific-research and project institute for rare-metal industry “Giredmet” JSC, Moscow, Russia.
    • Frame Agreement between “Institute Metallurgy and Ore Benefication” JSC (Almaty, Kazakhstan) and Northeast Research Engineering University (NEUI, Shenyang, China) in the field of processing thermal power plants’ ashes and low-grade aluminium-containing raw materials was signed on October, 15th, 2013. The agreement number is №131015.
    • Agreement between “IMB” JSC and Institute of Nonferrous Metals (Poland) was signed- on June, 17th, 2013
    • Agreement on Scientific and Technical Cooperation in the field of developing technologies for minerals processing with company “Questa Capital GmbH” (Frankfurt on Main, Germany) was signed on March, 12th, 2013
    • Agreement about Constructive Cooperation with Institute of problems of deposits complex development of Russian Academy of Science (IPCDD RAS, Moscow, Russia) was signed on December, 20th, 2012
    • Consortium agreement on scientific-technical cooperation between “IMB” JSC (Kazakhstan) and “Irkutsk Research Institute of Noble, Rare Metal and Diamond” JSC (Russia) is signed in November 23, 2012 (contract time 3 years).
    • Agreement between “IMB” JSC (Kazakhstan) and Guangzhou Research Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals (China) is signed in July, 31, 2012 (contract time 5 years).
    • Scientific-Technical Cooperation Protocol of Understanding  is signed between State Scientific Institution “Physico-technical Institute of Belarus National Academy of Sciences” and “IMB” JSC (Kazakhstan)  in  May, 26, 2012.
    • Agreement for performing the research within the framework of the project “Development of low-wasted technologies for recovery of rare earth element from phosphor -gypsum” with “Delta” National Centre of innovative technologies development”, Moscow, Russia is signed (Agreement  09-15/12-55 from  May, 25, 2012).
    • Agreement for performing the research within the framework of the project “Development  of technologies for selective separation of collective concentrates with using new nano-modifiers and ultra-flotation  equipment” with Scientific-developmental  company “Turboflotservis” at Institute of bio-colloidal chemistry of Ukraine National Academy of Sciences is signed (Agreement  09-15/12-52/2 from  May, 2, 2012.
    • Memorandum of Agreement on scientific and technological cooperation between the PREMO company (Barcelona, Spain) and IMB JSC was signed on February 14, 2012.
    • Agreement on scientific and technological cooperation with the Institute of Industrial Enterprise Management Economics of the National University of Science and Technology “MISIS” (Moscow, Russia) was signed on April 27, 2011.
    • Agreement on scientific and technological cooperation with the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic was signed on April 28, 2011.
    • Agreement on scientific and technological cooperation with the A. Baikov Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Science of the Russian Academy of Sciences was signed on March 25, 2011.

    Projects under the Programme “Inter-Governmental Cooperation and International Scientific and Technical Programmes and Projects in 2010-2012” are being implemented:

    • “Development of the technology of direct bioleaching of noble and rare metals from the Kazakhstan’s ore deposits” in cooperation with the Xinjiang Research Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals (China);
    • “Development of the technology of selective separation of bulk concentrates by using new nanomodifiers and ultraflotation equipment” in cooperation with the Turboflotservis LLP at the Biocolloidal Chemistry Institute of the NAS of Ukraine.Within the projects framework:
      • Agreement on scientific and technological cooperation between the IMB JSC and Xinjiang Research Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals, XUAR, PRC was signed on June 6, 2010;
      • Agreement on scientific and technological cooperation between the IMB JSC and Turboflotservis LLP at the Biocolloidal Chemistry Institute of the NAS of Ukraine was signed (Cooperation Agreement No. 07-NIR dated October 11, 2010).
    • Agreement on joint research, design, technology and innovation activities between the IMB JSC and North-West Chemical Company CJSC (Russia) was signed on September 15, 2010.
    • A research, development, and engineering programme “Development of renewable energy in the Republic of Kazakhstan” in cooperation with the independent non-profit organisation Pitirim Sorokin – Nikolai Kondratieff International Institute (Russian Federation) was carried out in 2010.
    • Agreement on the development of scientific and technical cooperation in the field of environment, metallurgy, chemistry, biotechnology, development of energy-saving and resource-conscious technologies between the IMB JSC and I. Mechnikov Odessa National University of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine was signed December 15, 2009 and is valid for 5 years.
    •  on October, 29th, 2014 a meeting of leadership and specialists of the Center with representatives of “Krasnoyarsk factory of nonferrous metals named after V.N.Gulidov” (Krasnoyarsk, Russia) – Ashirov R.V. – head of S&D department and Strukalev K.M. – director of refining production took place. During the meeting organizational questions of cooperation in the field of processing the selenic concentrate obtained at “Krastsvetmet”, with isolation of branded selenium and noble metals enriched residuum were discussed. Representatives of “Krastsvetmet” were visited also pilot production of the Center where installation for selenium refining is set.
    • on October, 03rd, 2014 a meeting of leadership and specialists of the Center with Aktaj Songur – head of the company “Atlantic Asia pacific trns limited”, Turkey, and Sidorov E.A. – director of “Asia Mineral resource” Ltd took place. As a result of the meeting representatives of the companies state their readiness for cooperation and in detail get to know the project “Foundation of mining – metallurgical cluster for aluminium production by Bayer-hydrogarnet technology at Kostaznaj region ore deposit” to suggest their cooperation conditions.
    • On September, 08th, 2014 a meeting of leadership and specialists of the Center with representatives of Elsevier B.V. company (Amsterdam, Netherlands) Ajkhan Akanaj Sarajoulu and Bashak Kandemir took place. Questions of inclusion of the Kazakhstani scientific journals into Scopus database (DB) of publishing house Elsevier and arranging scientific paper of the Kazakhstani scientists for their publication in Elsevier publishing house journals, and also prospects of use of Scopus DB and other Elsevier DB by scientists of Kazakhstan were discussed. Practical recommendations have been given for journals reduction to conformity with the requirements of publishing house Elsevier to scientific journals during selection them for inclusion into abstract DB Scopus.
    • On July, 4th, 2014 in “IMB” JSC a seminar on a theme “Presentation of products of the company to heads and experts of the affiliated organizations of Holding “Parasat” was held with participation of the representative of company Elsevier Ajkhan Akanaj Sarajoulu – manager on work with clients in territory of Turkey and the Central Asia and also decisions of the company for of some databases: “SCIVAL”, “KNOVEL”, “REAXYS” was represented. Employees of the Center and the affiliated organizations of Holding “Parasat” have taken part in discussion.
    • On June, 3rd, 2014 in “IMB” JSC there occurred a meeting with representatives of company “UUTechnic”, Uusikaupunki, Finland, Dmitry Komov – the manager on work with key clients, and Jouni Laine – the sales manager which told about activity of company “UUTechnic”, engaged designing, installation, production and distribution of the equipment for metallurgical, in particular hydrometallurgical, and mining industries.
    • on December 9th 2013 meeting of a management and specialists of the Center with representatives of the Irkutsk scientific research institute of noble and rare metals and diamonds (IRGIREDMET, Russia): deputy general director on scientific work, Dr. Tech. Sci., professor Vojloshnikov G.I., Head of Hydrometallurgy lab., Cand. Tech. Sci. Khmelnitskaya O.D., leading and senior scientific workers, Cand. Tech. Sci. Mullov V.M., Koblov A.Y. and Petrov S.V., took place. Both of the party has demonstrated presentations about their organizations, prospects of cooperation within frame of earlier signed Agreement on scientific and technical cooperation have been discussed.
    • on November 21st 2013 meeting of a management and specialists of the Center with Doctor of Economics, professor, chief-editor of Publishing House «Ore and metals» A.G.Vorob’ev (Moscow, Russia) took place. He has demonstrated presentations about activity of the Publishing House. Opportunities for the edition of thematic issue of one of the journals, devoted to “IMB” JSC and other questions concerning publishing, as well as some aspects of scientific work are discussed. A.G.Vorob’ev has presented PH production – journals and book. In response the president of Center Abisheva Z.S. has presented the booklet of the Center and last numbers of Journal published in Center.
    • on January, 28th, 2013 – administration and specialists of the Center met with the representative of company «Questa Capital GmbH», main geologist Ralf Ekhannes Gerner (Frankfurt on Main, Germany). The decision on signing Memorandum on bilateral cooperation between «Institute Metallurgy and Ore Benefication» JSC and «Questa Capital Gmbh» to execute project «Creation of effective technologies for ore benefication at deposit «Upper Kajrakty» in Kazakhstan and developing the feasibility report for this deposit mining» was accepted.
    • on November 26, 2012 meeting between the leaderships and experts of the IMB and Prof. Dr. Ellina Łunarska, a representative of the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences (Warsaw, Poland) was held. Prof. Łunarska presented a report on the activities of the Institute and scientific research in Poland. There was an exchange of views about the development of science in the world, in particular, Kazakhstan and Poland. The issues of improving the ranking of science and technology journals especially the “Complex Use of Mineral Resources” journal published in the IMB were addressed. Prof. Lunarska is a foreign member of the journal’s editorial board. The possible prospects of cooperation in the field of scientific and technological research and advanced training of scientific workers were discussed as well. IMB President Z. Abisheva gave Ellina Łunarska the latest issue of the “Complex Use of Mineral Resources” journal and a leaflet covering the research activities of IMB.
    • On November 22, 2012, experts of the Distrilab LLP and Buchi company (Switzerland) attended a research and practice seminar on “Modern laboratory equipment: Glass reactors, pilot plants, autoclaves, pressurised reactors for the ore mining and smelting research institutes” arranged by IMB as part of their meeting. It has been decided to conduct more seminars with experts from the Swiss companies which produce laboratory equipment.
    • On October 22, 2012, a meeting between the leadership and experts of the IMB and the representative of the publishing house Wiley-VCH VERLAG, editor-in-chief of the Wiley magazines Mr. Peter Gregory (UK) was held. He made a detailed presentation of the Wiley-VCH Verlag publishing house. The audience asked many questions about how articles in the Wiley-VCH VERLAG research journals had been published, and comprehensive answers were received. Given the great interest in this publishing house, its magazines and journals, the prospects of possible ways for future cooperation were discussed. IMB President Z. Abisheva gave Peter Gregory the recent issue of the “Complex Use of Mineral Resources” journal published by IMB. In response some issues of the Wiley-VCH VERLAG journals were presented.
    • On March 2, 2012, a meeting between the leadership and experts of the IMB JSC, the K. Saptaev Institute of Geological Sciences, the Institute of Physics and Technology, the Kazakh Academy of Infocommunications, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Israel G. Orazbakov and a representative of the Worldwide Integrated Network Ltd company from Israel Shimon Eckhaus was held. The research institutes made presentations on their key areas of research, advanced scientific and technical and innovative projects. Worldwide Integrated representative Shimon Eckhaus spoke about the main trends in science and technology in Israel and showed interest in cooperation with the Kazakhstani scientific organisations.
    • On February 3, 2012, a meeting between the leadership and experts of the IMB JSC and Prof. Dr. Ata Utku Akçil of the Technical University in Sparta (Turkey) was held. IMB President Z. Abisheva gave a presentation to show the main scientific achievements and future research activities of the company. Prof. Dr. Ata Utku Akçil made a report on the key research activities in the field of hydrometallurgical processing of mineral raw materials and technologies used in the metallurgical industry in Turkey as well as research and training activities of the Technical University of Sparta. Opportunities for scientific and technical cooperation were discussed.
    • On January 12, 2011, a meeting between the leadership of the IMB JSC and Kazatomprom JSC and representatives of the Canadian Cameco corporation was held. Presentations by both parties were made. The issues of uranium industry were discussed. It was decided to hold another meeting later this year.
    • On October, 20-23th, 2014 head of laboratory of the titanium and rare refractory metals, Cand. Tech.Sci. Naimanbayev M.A. participated in the International conference “Actual questions of rare earth metals obtaining and application”, held  by “GINTsVETMET” JSC, Moscow, Russia.
    • On October, 22nd, 2014 vice-president of “IMB” JSC, Cand. Tech.Sci. Panichkin A.V. and head of IP&IC department Cand. Chem.Sci. Darisheva A.M. participated in work of round table on theme “Use of foreign information resources: experience and prospects”, which was attended by ME&S Chairman of science Committee Zholdasbayev S.I., president of NC STI JSC Ibrayev A.Z., the heads and representatives of high schools and leading scientific Centers of KR, and also representatives of companies Thomson Reuters, Elsevier and Springer.
    • On October, 12-18th, 2014 head of laboratory of alumina and aluminium, Cand. Tech. Sci. Abdulvaliyev R.A. spake with report on the International Congress and exhibition ICSOВА in Zhèngzhōu, China, and also conducted negotiations with representatives of company Chalieco in Beijing, China.
    • On October, 08-12th, 2014 the president of “IMB” JSC, corresponding member of RK NAS Abisheva Z.S., head of laboratory of flotation agents and benefication, Dr. Tech. Sci. Tussupbayev N.K. and head of laboratory of alumina and aluminium, Cand. Tech. Sci. Abdulvaliyev R.A. visited Institute of nonferrous metals, Guangzhou, China. During visit results of works on the theme: “Development and approbation of technology for rare earth elements recovery from residual soil of Kundybaj deposit” were discussed.
    • From September, 29th – to October, 7th, 2014, head of laboratory of metal technology and science of “IMB” JSC, Cand. Tech. Sci. Mamayeva A.A. read lectures, held a seminar, and also tested the coatings obtained in the laboratory by invitation of Wroclaw Technology University, Poland.
    • From June, 28th – to July, 09th, 2014 head of laboratory of the titanium and rare refractory metals, Cand. Tech.Sci. Naimanbayev M.A. participated in the International seminar-training “European experience of a waste management and ecological safety” held in Hanover ,Germany, with participation of representatives of the innovative ecological enterprises and High Schools of the Lower Saxony
    • on June, 02-06th, 20104 employees of “IMB” JSC, Cand. Tech. Sci. Naimanbayev M.A. and Cand. Tech. Sci.  Ultarakova A.A. took part in the Congress with the international participation and elements of school of young scientists “Fundamental researches and applied developments of processes for processing and recycling of technogenic formations” – Technogen-2014, Ekaterinburg, Russia.
    • on April, 22-25th, 2014 the employee of “IMB” JSC Sydykov A.E. participated in the International scientific and technical conference “Scientific bases and practice of ores and technogenic raw material processing” which held in Ural State Mining University, Ekaterinburg, Russia.
    • on November 21st 2013 leading employees of the Center – 27 persons participated in International seminar «Springer Publishing – Gateway to the Scientific Research». The lecturers were vice-president of the company Asdaa Kotani, sale director Sitki Aktas, marketing manager Thafeer Atta, chief editor Aliaksandr Birukou. Certificates were received.
    • on October 13-20th 2013 President of “IMB” JSC, corresponding member of RK NAS Abisheva Z.S., Head of Alumina and Aluminium Laboratory Cand. Tech. Sci. Abdulvaliev R.A and chief scientific worker of the laboratory, Dr. Tech. Sci. Tastanov E.A. visited China with business-trip. Where they attended Northeast Research Engineering University – NEUI in Shenyang and signed the Frame Agreement between “Institute Metallurgy and Ore Benefication” JSC (Almaty, Kazakhstan) and Northeast Research Engineering University (NEUI, Shenyang, China). Abdulvaliev R.A and Tastanov E.A. also visited factory of Inner Mongolia Datan Company situated in Hohhot city, which processes ashes of the biggest in Asia thermal power plant. Abisheva Z.S. visited Guangzhou Research Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals to discuss joint researches according to previously signed Agreement on Scientific and Technical Cooperation.

Sci. – Darisheva A.M. and expert of the Department Kokoveshnikova T.A. participated in International seminar for editors: “Thomson Reuters and IET about strategy of scientific journals publication activity in Kazakhstan” with participation of honorary vice-president on editorial policy of Thomson Reuters – James Testa (Philadelphia, USA), director on communication with clients of INSPEC – Yann Amouroux (Stevenage, England), specialist for working with clients of Thomson Reuters – Sergey Paramonov (Moscow, Russia).

    • on May, 15th-17th, 2013 President of “IMB” JSC, corresponding member of RK NAS Abisheva Z.S., chief scientific worker of Rare scattered elements laboratory, Dr. Tech. Sci., professor Zagorodnyaya A.N. reported papers at International Conference “By-Product Metals in Non-Ferrous Metals Industry”, Wroclaw, Poland.
    • on May, 1st-3rd, 2013 Head of Department of Intellectual Property and International Cooperation, Cand. Chem. Sci. – Akgul Darisheva participated in 2nd meeting of Consultative Committee and 16th Meeting of Coordinating Council of COMSATS (Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South), Accra, Ghana. General presentation about scientific activity, structure and achievements of “IMB” JSC was made.
    • on April, 1st, 2013 employees of the Center participated in International seminar on Thomson Reuters Scientific and Scholarly Research resources. The lecturer is specialist on work with Thomson Reuters clients – Sergey Paramonov (Moscow, Russia). Certificates were received.

    • On September 9-13, 2012, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Professor G. Yar-Mukhamedova made a report at the European Corrosion Congress EUROCORR-2012 in Istanbul, Turkey.
    • On July 23 – August 2, 2012, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Z. Abisheva, Candidate of Technical Sciences M. Naimanbayev made a business trip, during which they held talks with the leadership of the Institutes “Baotou Research Institute of Rare Earths”, “Guang Zhou Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals” about a possibility to make co-operation agreements, in the cities of Baotou, Guangzhou and Shanghai, China.
    • On July 23-25, 2012, ten experts of IMB took part in a seminar on how to apply for grant funding for research organised by the Research Centre of the State Scientific and Technical Expertise with the involvement of lecturers from the USA, UK, the Netherlands, Russia and Turkey. The certificates were obtained.
    • On June 29 and August 29, 2012, twelve experts of IMB took part in the training seminars “Introduction and practical application of the world’s best resources by the company Elsevier” conducted by the company’s regional managers Ayhan Akanay Saraçoğlu and Gamze Keskin (Turkey). The certificates were obtained.
    • On June 18-20, 2012, Candidate of Technical Sciences G. Semenchenko made a presentation at the international conference “Biohydrometallurgy ’12” in London, Falmouth, United Kingdom.

    • On April 16, 2012, Candidate of Technical Sciences M. Naimanbayev made a report at the International Conference “Innovation cooperation: access to new markets” in Moscow, Russia.
    • On February 23, 2012, Candidate of Chemical Sciences A. Darisheva took part in the conference and an interview with representatives of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation on “Atlas of Innovations of Kazakhstan”.
    • On February 8, 2012, Candidate of Chemical Sciences A. Darisheva took part in the meeting organised by the public foundation WikiBilim on issues dealing with getting to know the Creative Commons licence.
    • On October 31 – November 1, 2011, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor G. Yar-Mukhamedova and Candidate of Chemical Sciences A. Darisheva took part in the training seminar organised with the assistance of CRDF (USA) on commercialisation of technologies and the practical approach to intellectual property protection. The certificates were obtained.
    • On October 21, 2011, Candidate of Chemical Sciences A. Darisheva took part in a seminar presentation of the European project for the protection of intellectual property “CASIP-SME – IP Services to Enterprises to Support Innovation and Market”.
    • On September 17-25, 2011, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor A. Mukusheva and Candidate of Technical Sciences A. Koizhanova took part in the 19th International Biohydrometallurgy Symposium (IBS 2011) with the poster and oral presentations in Changsha, China.
    • On September 19-24, 2011, Doctor of Technical Sciences N. Tusupbayev, Candidate of Technical Sciences M. Naimanbayev, Senior scientific worker N. Lokhova took part in the international scientific meeting “New technologies of enrichment and integrated processing of natural difficult resources and man-made mineral resources” (“Plaksin Readings-2011”) in Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Russia.

    • On June 19-25, 2011, Candidate of Technical Sciences M. Naimanbayev and Candidate of Technical Sciences G. Semenchenko took part in the 11thInternational Multidisciplinary Scientific Geo-Conference SGEM 2011 in Albena, Bulgaria.
    • On May 30 – June 1, 2011, Vice President of IMB, Candidate of Technical Sciences A. Panichkin underwent training at the seminar on “Promoting research and innovation for economic development of a country” held by the National Centre for Scientific and Technical Information, JSC in cooperation with UNESCO and received a certificate. Training specialists from Russia, Iran, Malaysia and France had been invited to conduct the seminar.
    • On April 18-19, 2011, Candidate of Chemical Sciences A. Darisheva took part in the seminar “Protection of patents and trademarks – the U.S. experience” organised by the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the World Intellectual Property Organisation with the assistance of the Civilian Research and Development Foundation of the USA (GRDF) and received a certificate.
    • From February 28 to March 11, 2011, Candidate of Technical Sciences A. Koizhanova and Candidate of Sciences in Physics and Mathematics A. Mamayeva underwent training under the programme “Energy Efficiency and Management” organised by the International Agency TIKA in Ankara and Istanbul, Turkey (the certificate “Energy Efficiency and Management” signed by the Turkish International Development Corporation and the Japan International Agency for Energy Conservation was received).
