Satbayev University Rector Meets with the Institute of Metallurgy and Ore Beneficiation Scientists to Discuss Future Directions and Innovations
On February 4, 2025, a significant meeting took place at the Institute of Metallurgy and Ore Beneficiation’s conference hall, where Satbayev University Rector, Begentaev Meyram Mukhametrakhymuly, engaged with the institute’s scientists. During the session, the General Director of the Institute of Metallurgy and Ore Beneficiation, Bagdaulat Kenzhaliuly Kenzhaliyev, presented the key results of the institute’s scientific and industrial activities in 2024. He highlighted the institute’s future development strategies, including the establishment of a Kazakhstan-Korea Scientific Center for producing high-tech materials based on rare metals.

- Tolegenova Z.V., Head of the Office for Sustainable Development Projects, outlined «Actions for Implementing Sustainable Development Goals.»
- Abdirov M.M. provided insights on «Key Conditions for Participating in the Grant Competition for Commercializing Scientific and/or Technological Results.»
- Simonov A.G. presented on «The Importance of Artificial Intelligence in Universities and Higher Education Institutions.»
- Engsebaeva M.Z. gave a presentation on «Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of Satbayev University.»
Concluding the meeting, Rector Begentaev emphasized the Institute of Metallurgy and Ore Beneficiation’s contribution to the advancement of science and technology in Kazakhstan. He also stressed the importance of further developing international collaboration and organizing innovative production processes to enhance the institute’s role in the global scientific community.
