April 12 is the Day of Scientific Researchers of\nKazakhstan. This holiday was introduced by the Decree of the President of the\nRepublic on October 20, 2011. This date was not chosen by chance, on this day\nthe outstanding Kazakh scientist-geologist, the first president of the Academy\nof Sciences of the Republic, Kanysh Imantayevich Satbayev, was born. He stood\nat the origins of the scientific organization of Kazakhstan and devoted his\nwhole life to science and its development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the years of its existence, the scientific potential\nof our team has significantly increased, in a number of areas our Institute is\nwidely known for its achievements, scientific schools have been formed,\nfundamental and applied research is being carried out, and international\nrelations are developing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, Satbayev University\u2019s\nK.I. Satpaev gold medal\u2019 was\nawarded to employees of JSC “Institute of Metallurgy and Ore Beneficiation” for their contribution to the development of science and education:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Dr.<\/strong> Sergey A. Kvyatkovsky,<\/strong> Head of the\nLaboratory of Pyrometallurgy of Heavy Non-Ferrous Metals;<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Dr.,\nAssociate Professor Sergey A. Trebukhov<\/strong>, Deputy General Director.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this significant day, we want to thank you for your\ndaily painstaking work, those unique research projects, and work, in the plans\nand implementation of which the spirit of national science is realized. \n\nPlease, accept our sincere wishes for well-being, creative inspiration,\nnew scientific achievements, and the implementation of all plans. Good health and\ngood mood to you and your loved ones!\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
