Hydrometallurgy and alumina technology;

-Physico-chemical studies of interaction in systems comprising aluminum, silicon, sodium, calcium, iron;

-Development of technologies for complex processing of sub-standard alumina-containing raw materials;

-Climb receiving of rare metals from industrial products of alumina production;

-Development of fluoride technology of  aluminosilicate raw material processing;

-Development of technologies for complex processing of thermal power station ashes  and other technological waste.

Scientific and technical developments offered to implementation:

 

-Gallium and vanadium extraction technology from industrial products of alumina production;
-The electrolyzer for the reagentless receiving of gallium from alkaline-aluminate solutions;
-Bayer hydrogarnet technology of complex processing of ferruginous bauxites.

 

Main achievements:

 

-The technology of low quality bauxite processing was introduced together with All-Union Institute of aluminum and magnesium at the Pavlodar aluminum plant;

-Was developed and implemented  the technology for production of gallium and vanadium at the Pavlodar aluminum plant;

-Developed and tested on the experimental plant of All-Union Institute of aluminum and magnesium high-temperature autoclave technology of opening the aluminum-containing raw materials
